Jon Argenbright was raised mostly in Virginia with a close, hard working family. His father started in the Methodist ministry right out of college. Seventeen years later his father entered the sales industry dealing in floor covering and his mother was a homemaker and home economist. From a young age Jon was taught,"If you don't work you don't eat". He started making money at ten years old with a newspaper route. Jon worked throughout high school in restaurants, from cleaning floors and bathrooms to being the head cook is charge of the food preparation crew.

Upon graduating High School, Jon went to work full time in Retail and took business courses at Piedmont College in Charlottesville Virginia. After getting frustrated with working harder than the next person and getting the same pay, he decided to get into commissioned sales. That way if he produced better, he would have a better income than those that didn't.

Jon has been in commissioned sales and management for over 30 years. He has worked from mom and pop businesses up to multi-billion dollar corporations. Jon has experience in most all areas of retail sales, management, scheduling, staffing, inventory, buying, advertising, budgeting, etc. All these years in working with all kinds of people he has studied business and people skills in numerous venues. Everywhere he has worked he has been one of the top producers with very high customer satisfaction ratings. He attributes that to the high priority he places on honesty and integrity in every thing he puts his hand to.

Jon and his family moved to Texas in 1994. In 1999 he and his wife built a home in Saginaw."We really like living and doing business in this area and do'nt plan on moving out of the area any time soon"

The opportunity to help promote the Eagle Mountain Lake area and its people seemed the perfect thing to do. Jon enjoys using his skills and knowledge of retail business and his ability to uplift and encourage people, to positively promote living and doing business in the Eagle Mountain Lake area.

Jon and Darwin met through a business networking organization a few years ago and have developed a good, trusting relationship. When Darwin came up with the idea of promoting living and doing business in the Eagle Mountain Lake area Jon immediately liked the idea. The idea for the publication and web site has been well received by residents, organizations and businesses in the area.

One of Jon's goals is to be able to use his skills and knowledge to help other businesses in the area to prosper through his relationship with the local business owners, and with the advertising in the EMLLiving publication and web site. In addition to publishing and marketing the EMLLiving Magazine and web site, Jon is still in commissioned sales in the Metroplex.
